Receptionist 
     
Immediate,  full time opening for a receptionist in our Behavioral Health Services Department. Position is Monday-Friday. Computer, keyboarding skills and the ability to accurately type 50 wpm are required. Two years experience in a medical office setting is preferred. Requires excellent customer service skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and the ability to be flexible are a must.
 
 
 

 Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Part time opening in Memorial Medical Center’s Walk-In Clinic. Rotating, 12 hour shifts give you extra time to enjoy the best of the Lake Superior/ Apostle Islands arts and recreation areas. Advanced practice nurse prescriber certification is required. EOE.
 
 

Electrician
 
Full time opening for experienced electrician.  Journeyman Electrician Certification with the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services and experience in institutional workplace preferred.  Will be responsible for general maintenance and installation of electrical circuits and equipment including generators, cable networking, emergency lighting, fire alarm systems, variable frequency drives and controls, phones, pagers and office machines.  Must have good computer skills and be able to read blueprints and machine schematics.   Mechanical skills a plus.  Must demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills.  Primarily day shifts with occasional afternoons, weekends and holidays.
 

 
Transcription Manager
Immediate opening for Transcription Manager to be responsible for the medical transcription function including supervision, planning, organizing, scheduling,  training,  and quality assurance.  Must have an RHIT degree, an Associate degree in Medical Transcription or at least 5 years of continuous experience as a medical transcriptionist at a hospital,  as well as demonstrated supervisory abilities.  Must have excellent communication, leadership and motivational skills.  Must be proficient with general software applications and adept at learning and applying changing transcription software and technology.
