Substance Abuse Counselor

Regional medical center has an opening for a substance abuse counselor in our Behavioral Health Dept, master’s level preferred. We are certified for inpt, outpt and day treatment services for mental health and we offer outpt and day treatment services for substance abuse. We also treat patients with a dual diagnosis. Must have WI license and be eligible for third party reimbursement. This position requires empathy, personal responsibility, and respect for the dignity of individuals served. The candidate must have experience facilitating group therapy, individual therapy, and counseling family members. Must be able to work individually as well as part of a team. Experience with lecturing, prevention, and educating is a plus. Services are part of a community hospital system located on the south shore of Lake Superior near Bayfield and the Apostle Islands recreation area. Generous benefit package.
