Lifeline Emergency Response - 685-5184
Living on your own can be enjoyable and rewarding. However, sometimes you may
be concerned about the possibility of a bad fall, and accident or a sudden illness. With
Lifeline Emergency Response, you will feel more relaxed, secure and confident. Lifeline
is a personal emergency response system which links you to a 24-hour assistance with
the push of a button. It allows you to move freely around your home or yard with the
confidence of knowing that if you need help, Lifeline will call for it.
A small portable personal help button is worn on a neck cord or wrist strap. If you need
help, simply push the button. A Lifeline Communicator connected to your phone line
sends an automatic call for help. Specially trained personnel receive your help call and
immediately attempt to make contact with you. If assistance is needed, they will contact
you personal responders - either nearby friends or relatives who can check on you. For
more serious situations, an ambulance or the police will be dispatched.
Lifeline Emergency Response is a program of the Hospital Auxiliary of Memorial
Medical Center.
